The challenge

International Animal Rescue asked us to refresh their brand guidelines and to find brands that they could partner with to raise the profile of the charity and the amazing work they do.

Engaging hearts and minds online

Our digital design strategy and templates shaped the creation of a new and improved website. After the initial research stage, we produced a set of interactive design prototypes in Adobe XD. These were vital, as it gave IAR the chance to experience the new brand online for the first time. We wanted the new website to capture the hearts and minds of the audience in seconds, as well as making key user journeys quicker and easier.

IAR Website

Our solution

We created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, including a refreshed logo, colour palette, font, tone of voice and templates for press, email and social assets.

We recommended new website designs which were aligned to the new brand guidelines.

We introduced IAR to Meridian, who was the perfect corporate partner with aligned values. One of our partnership activation ideas was to launch a Meridian product that gave a donation to IAR.

We also secured a partnership with GoPro, who donated cameras and kit to IAR centres in Costa Rica, Armenia and Borneo to capture incredible footage of the animals they protect.

Results

Updated brand guidelines meant a refreshed and consistent application of their brand, driving increased brand awareness.

IAR is now the charity partner of Meridian Foods with both direct donations from the business and fundraising campaigns with their customers

Using the GoPro cameras, IAR captured footage of a mother bear and her cub being released back into the wild in Armenia. GoPro featured this story on their social channels and on gopro.com.
